What began as a hobby in answer to a sedentary job has become a true passion. There’s nothing I love more (well, except for the Old Dog and maybe my wife) than taking a piece of discarded steel and forging new life into it.
In addition to forging, I have a background in welding and have constructed my own stands and workbenches. A history buff, too, I enjoy learning about and restoring anvils, vises and tools.
When I’m not forging, you can find me checking out antique blacksmith equipment and picking up scrap metal from the side of the road.
